The Sense Of Things Are Changing

Can you believe that in a few days it will be August? We are coming into the season I love. #Fall doesn't start here in the UK, until 22 September.

Fall always gives me a sense of comfort.  Staying indoors and drinking hot chocolate, the leaves changing colour and falling from the trees. The sense of things are changing. So this is a perfect time for us to do the same.

This is the time to do things in the home. Crafts, planning learning and reading. As we won't be going out as much due to the weather.

Life has issues and the best way forward is to have a plan. This is the perfect time. The things I will miss are fresh clean duvet from outside, listening to the birds sing and watching the sunset. 

With these changes I feel the same. As getting older and more worried about time.

It's funny how your lifestyle changes. Now I'm coming into my own life as I am in my mid 50's, it's a totally different time and the things I want to do. I am currently working on a few projects writing for TV/Film but also how I could have a better job and life.

I've been a cleaner for over 10 yrs but now due to health reasons it's becoming more difficult. I also want to do something like what you are reading. I love writing and helping others find information. I really want to change the way we think about ourselves. I want to make my blog my own magazine of ideas for home, life and mainly saving money.

I noticed in some old magazines that clothing, home and beauty items were all very expensive. I loved this dress until I looked at the price of £200. This isn't  something I would wear everyday. 

I love making something out of nothing. Using what I have or going to charity shops and finding things that I love in vintage. I did find a pillow with a gold Buddha on the front. At the time I couldn't afford it and it was £25 for a pillow. I found it in a charity shop a few years later for £1.

Hope you also have a look, as you are recycling and getting a bargain at the same time.

Look up and around

My son's girlfriend and I went for walk to the shop, it was a lovely day. It wasn't to hot or cold. Just a nice afternoon to take a walk. When we walked passed a garden and over the wall I saw these.

They're called Allium they're in the onion family. You can't eat them but they look very pretty. Something I would like in my garden. Something always seems to go wrong or breaks that needs to be replaced. Hopefully,  next year I will have some time and money.

It's remembering the blue skies and the clouds rolling by for that little shade. Sitting outside and doing a bit of gardening. Nothing is nicer than being in nature and sitting listening to the birds. We found out by doing this,  we have a family of squirrels and saw they had babies.

With summer almost over these pictures can help you remember the little things.

It will be back to school darker nights and staying cozy. My favorite time of the year! As each year has its seasons, remember to stop look up and around.
